How do I get to the venue by public transport?

We are located on Dray Walk, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL (within the Old Truman Brewery). The nearest stations are Aldgate East (District), Shoreditch High Street (Overground) and Liverpool Street (National Rail, Central, Hammersmith & City).



Is the venue available for private hire?

Yes – contact Sean for all private or corporate hire enquiries.



Is there a dress code?

Our dress code is casual.



How do I submit a demo / mix?

Please send demo mixes to info@cafe1001.co.uk and we will get back to you if we like what we hear.



Do you sell advance tickets?

Whilst the majority of our events are free, for our ticketed events some tickets are available for advance purchase online.



How do I apply for a job at Café 1001?

We are always looking for bar / floor staff. If you think you have something to bring to the team then please email a CV and covering letter to info@cafe1001.co.uk.



Do you accept events proposals?

We are always looking for exciting new promoters/ events. Please email a proposal (along with recent photographs, social media links and relevant info) over to Sean.



Do you record any of the sets?

How can I join the mailing list?

I lost an item at the venue, how can I get it back?

Please email info@cafe1001.co.uk with the date attended and a full description of the item.



How can I get involved in your open mic night?

Our open mic night runs every Tuesday 7pm to 12am. You can book a slot by emailing pluggedin007@gmail.com or dropping in during those times.



Can I smoke at the venue?

Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area outside the venue.
