Werkhaus Presents: Independent Venue Week Launch

Back Room

Werkhaus London Presents: Arcades & Guests

Werkhaus London is proud to announce that we will be officially taking part in Independent Venue Week 2020!

This week is always a fantastic week of live music, with grassroots venues up and down the country putting on live music, from the best new DIY artists to some of the most exciting established acts in the country

This year, on 14th November, we will be partaking in the official launch of IVW, with four very special bands playing for us

Join us with live sets from:

Arcades

A fun raucous carnival of classic rock’n’roll, Arcades have an aptitude for power and rawness, blended in with cleverly crafted riffs and delicate lyricism

Useless Cities

Creating hauntingly melodic lullabies, Useless Cities have a raw and brooding 90s aura about them, their sound as a band really tight and meticulous. Having played at renowned venues like The Brixton Windmill and The Social, Useless Cities have an eclectic indie alt-rock feel, and we can’t wait to have them play for us

Tiger Mimic

Groovy rock’n’roll hits you in the face HARD with Tiger Mimic, an exciting and vivacious four piece from London. Their sound is a true embodiment of the term ‘power,’ with a sharp boldness embedded in their sound. They’ve played a wide variety of DIY festivals and venues within the last year, and have built a formidable reputation for themselves as a deafening live band

Cavalcade

One of the most exciting and fun live bands, Cavalcade are a raucous force on stage, their sets packed with a vivacious attitude and dynamism. The four piece from London have a wild stage presence, their sound mixing dirty industrial rock’n’roll with post Britpop, a very riff heavy foundation in all of their tracks

This is an 18+ event so please ensure you have valid ID with you!

We can offer queue jumps for those who aren’t able to stand for a long period of time, with seating options available within the venue if required. We also have accessible toilets on site

Keep an eye out for more announcements!

See you down the front✨
