Smile End Music Presents

Back Room

Smile End are proud to present our first FREE London club night at Brick Lane's Werkhaus, situated opposite Rough Trade East.

Headlining the line-up are Glossii, who have been cited as 'South Londoners single-handedly making the Tudors punk' (NME) & 'raw, gritty, punk-infused indie-rock that barely lets up in energy' (DIY mag). They're quickly making a name for themselves and are set to smash the scene to pieces in spectacular fashion in the months to come!

You can watch Glossii's video for Rockaway Runaway here

Main support comes from The Rills, a band who caught Smile End's attention during the zines' early days at Queen Mary's University through their energetic live shows. The Rills, having supported King Nun back in May, are best described as raucous indie with a hint of crude post-punk.

The bangers don't end there; we're also joined by The Green Brothers, who are fresh off the back of their appearence at Y Not Festival this summer. The Green Brothers are a 3-piece known for their brit-pop approach to 90's/00's inspired indie rock. And last, but by no means least we also welcome Southampton experimental punk band, Web, who have amassed gigs on the south coast supporting the likes of GayGirl, Sleep Eaters & The Wants.
